Ecological Attachment - Theory in Practice Communal Workshop Series
This is an online workshop series, with calls held via zoom.
*Please acknowledge and honor the following:
There are 2 separate tickets for this event. There are 9 tickets available for participants who will be joining the live gatherings via zoom (dates & times detailed below), and additional tickets for folks participating via recordings only (i.e., folks in incompatible time zones, people unable to attend at least 5 of the live gatherings, or folks who are unable to be apart of the live space due to other circumstances). It is important for participants to be honest with themselves as to their ability to follow through on the time & community commitments of purchasing a ticket to be a participant in the live gatherings. Engagement in the communal container is one of the most meaningful aspects of this workshop series, and lack of participation will result in the weakening of the collective container and how it nourishes overall. Please honor this request, as engagement with the space is important to me as a facilitator, supporting a reciprocity for the energy I put in to cultivate this space. Thank you so much!
About Ecological Attachment - Theory in Practice
Ecological Attachment - Theory in Practice is a communal workshop series that seeks to share the frameworks of Ecological Attachment Theory as a means of healing our relationship with the Earth, our selves, and others. Unlike other communal containers I have led in the past, this workshop series focuses on individual practice with a variety of tools that will help root the concepts of Ecological Attachment Theory into our lives through direct experience, exploration, and play. While communal discussion is supportive for intellectual integration and the cross-pollination of unique experiences and ideas, it is an expectation that participants will be committed to engaging with the materials provided in ways that deeply interact with their lives - you are in energetic reciprocity with the Land through the time and effort you dedicate cultivating that relationship. For those participating in the live gatherings, our time together will be in communal reflection of these weekly activities. For folks participating via recordings, you of course have complete flexibility in how you interact with the course materials, but if you’d like a more communal experience to accompany your individual work, we will have a Facebook group where we can post pictures, interact with one another, etc.
